It holds the boga securely if the plywood is cut closely and can be quickly released. Any tripod mount method will work. Squeese it in and set the board over the legs it work flat or at a slight angle. Then you have the chair to rest. There are 4small placess for a screw in the back you might attach a ridge bar that you could attach the tripod to. But I love the chair. I'll try to send you a picture. Happy Painting.
