Matt: I created a rig using a piece of 1/4" plywood cut to the inside of the board and then mounted tripod mount hardware from Judson outfitters (Guerilla painter). It holds the boga securely if the plywood is cut closely and can be quickly released. Any tripod mount method will work.

Try using a folding camp chair. Squeese it in and set the board over the legs it work flat or at a slight angle. Then you have the chair to rest. There are 4small placess for a screw in the back you might attach a ridge bar that you could attach the tripod to. But I love the chair. I'll try to send you a picture. Happy Painting.

Gayle, I have had my BogaBoard for over 25 years, because we just celebrated 25 yrs of marriage. My mother and I took a class from you in either late 1985 or early 1986. But I still have the board, and it has been idle several times but I enjoy using it when I do. Nice to see you and your blog.

I enjoy using it, although over the years it has been idle for awhile

I was wondering if there is a way to attach a bracket on the back so it can be attached to a camera tripod?

Yes the board is very easy to use, I don't know what I would do without it.
Thisl stretches a standard half sheet or you can use it for two quarter sheets by covering one side while working.
A full size stretcher is in the works but no set date of production just yet. Happy Painting.

It works great so far... I used it with watercolor canvas (which I discovered is the opposite of paper in that when it is wet, it shrinks instead of expanding)... so I set up the bogaboard with the watercolor canvas dry, then I used a paintbrush to apply water, then used a hair dryer and dried it, let it dry some more naturally, it did not buckle, then I painted a painting which looks great! No buckling, even with wet on wet. Thanks so much!!
